I thought Lily Allen looked cute during the GQ Men of the Year Awards. But what was meant to be an exchange of jokes between Lily Allen and Elton John have been made into something petty, once again. And of course, old video clips have been edited to make it look like Elton is saying bad things to Lily Allen to make the “feud” seem juicier. For some reason some people eats it all up without even finding out the real sources. And trust me, if you think Fox News and Bill O’Rilley are the source of all truths, honey, you need to venture out. Thanks to Myspace, Lily Allen had clarified the issue :

Elton john and I are friends. I was honoured when Elton asked me to present the GQ awards with him this year in association with Elton’s AIDS foundation. Not only was it for a good cause but who would say no to Elton.
I’m not defending my drunkeness because i don’t need to, i’m 23 it was an awards ceremony i drank the free champagne, how awful of me.
Trying to create a feud on the other hand, and trying to make me out as being some rude little girl with a drink problem is just unfair, Elton and I exchanged jokes and there were no hard feelings at all, infact neither of us gave it a second thought. It’s sad that an evening enjoyed by all had to ruined by some bitter journos again.
Alfie and Jamie had never been engaged, Jamie and I are the best of friends and I was just winding Alfie up , he’s my little brother and that’s what siblings do. Jamie wasn’t pissed off with me, if she was i would have known about it, believe me.

Here’s a video of sister pop group Aly & AJ discussing the Guitar Hero and Rock Band guitars that they helped developed with PDP. The guitars will hit stores about October. Also, they shared more info about their 3rd album. They’re calling it “more rock” and of course the proverbial influence of Pop Stars on the youth as “role models“. Yeah, yeah…
I kinda like that heart shaped guitar. And it’s pink. Did they just diss Ashley Tisdale and High School Musical Cast? When asked if they could handle the HSM cast against a Guitar Hero battle, they said, “maybe we have better stage presence, coz you know, we’re artists, go on stage“. Whaaat? Hey Aly and AJ, Ashley and Vanessa have their own albums out you know. But they saved themselves by saying maybe they should just form a band together. Uh Huh!

The Jackson Five sans Michael reunited last night at the 8th Annual BMI Urban Awards. Sister Janet Jackson presented the Motown legendary group with a BMI Icon Award.
When asked where Michael Jackson was, Marlon replied with a bizarre answer involving riding a camel somewhere in Egypt. Jermaine Jackson wasn’t present either.
And here’s the video of NKOTB performing “Single” with Ne-Yo on the Today Show. NKOTB and Ne-YO (Gucci) all in suits, just Suave. Don’t you think? Ne-Yo must have taught them a few steps coz they all meshed well and they just looked so smooth.
Matt Lauer interviewed them in the beginning about how they’re going to handle touring with their families, children most specifically. Coz you know, the guys do have lives and people to feed and kids to send to send ot college. Donnie said they have buses for everybody. Joey is taking care of the Baby bus, and then there’s a bus for them, and of course there’s a Baby Baby bus, if you know what I mean hardy-har-har Baby bus. Donnie is one naughty boy, hehe. He’s “single” after all :).
I know a friend of mine missed the NKOTB performances on the Today Show yesterday coz someone (meaning me) neglected to let her know that their Monday appearance was moved to Thursday because of Gustav. Don’t worry, I told her to put Pop Music Scene on her RSS Feeds :). So here’s the NKOTB performing Step By Step :
The sound wasn’t all that good yesterday. Or was it just me? NKOTB did great but I wish they were louder. Oh well, hope you still enjoyed it :)
Here are the Pussycat Dolls all together out and about in Midtown Manhattan, Rockefeller Center NYC. It’s been rare to see all of together just wandering around like normal people yah know. Mostly, it’s when they’re at an Award Show or performing on show. So it’s kinda nice to see them all together actually getting along. Talk about Doll Domination :).
